We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Backend Developer (Node.js or Django)

Job Location: Lagos

Overview

• Briskit Agency is looking for a Backend Developer to architect and implement the backend infrastructure for a feature-rich reporting and workflow platform.
• You'll be responsible for handling user roles, data management, APIs, file uploads, requisitions, and more.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop secure, scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js (Express) or Django
• Implement user authentication with JWT and RBAC for multiple roles
• Build modules for requisitions, campaign lifecycle, vendor management, wallet transactions, and reporting
• Integrate third-party APIs and Firebase notification services
• Handle file uploads and data validations with proper storage logic
• Write unit and integration tests; maintain clean, documented code.

Requirements

• 3+ years of backend development experience (Node.js or Django)
• Strong understanding of API design and data modeling
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases
• Familiar with Docker, cloud hosting (AWS/DigitalOcean), and DevOps tools
• Proficiency in Git, version control, and Agile methodologies
• Experience with file handling, chat/messaging systems, and performance optimization.

Compensation & Engagement Terms

• Project-Based Employment - We pay monthly per project per duration of any project.
• Monthly Pay: N200,000 - N250,000 (based on experience and performance)
• Total Contract Value: N600,000 - N750,000
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days onsite and 3 days remote per week.
