We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Business Development Manage
Job Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Market Research:

  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, assess competitor strategies, and uncover opportunities for growth within the solar energy sector. 
  • Utilize market insights to inform business development strategies and prioritize target markets.

Lead Generation:

  • Develop and execute lead generation strategies to identify prospective clients and opportunities for collaboration. 
  • Utilize various channels such as networking events, digital marketing, and industry publications to generate leads and expand the client base.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while cultivating new partnerships. 
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction with products and services.

Proposal Development:

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations that highlight the company's value proposition and address client requirements. 
  • Craft compelling proposals that showcase the benefits of solar energy solutions and differentiate the company from competitors.

Sales and Negotiation:

  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts, pricing agreements, and project scopes. 
  • Employ effective sales techniques to overcome objections and close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the company and the client.

Partnership Development:

  • Identify potential strategic partners, including solar installers, suppliers, financing institutions, and government agencies, to enhance the company's capabilities and expand its market reach. 
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and establish mutually beneficial collaborations to drive business growth.

Industry Networking:

  • Actively participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to build relationships with key stakeholders and stay abreast of industry developments.
  • Leverage networking opportunities to promote the company's brand, showcase its expertise, and explore potential business opportunities.

Market Expansion:

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the company's presence in new geographic markets or verticals within the solar energy sector.
  • Identify untapped opportunities for growth and devise actionable plans to penetrate new markets and increase market share.

Secure Funding for Projects:

  • Work closely with finance and investment teams to secure funding for solar projects through grants, loans, or investment partnerships. 
  • Develop business cases and financial models to demonstrate the viability and profitability of proposed projects to potential investors or financing institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all PPA proposals
  • Manage all government contracts from paperwork, Registration, tendering etc
  • Manage all key developers
  • Secure funding for PPA projects
  • Secure financing for EPCs
  • Quarterly Market reports.
  • Secure dealers and retailers to cover the country
