The Candel Company Limited was incorporated on the 10th of September, 1992 as a Private Limited Liability Company to carry on the development, production, marketing and distribution of agrochemicals, specialised fertilisers, seeds and allied products in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Trainee Accountant

Job Location: Lagos

Job Brief

• We are looking for a responsible Trainee Accountant who will work with a Senior Accountant.

Job Responsibilities

• Daily duties include making income or expense entries into the accounting system.
• Entering vendor invoices, paying bills and creating invoices for clients.
• Checking entries for accuracy; making necessary corrections and filing documents as needed.
• Working on payroll, quarterly taxes, asset inventory, cost accounting or other disciplines within the accounting department.
• The trainee accountant will work with qualified and experienced accountants and begin to appreciate how different core functions operate within the organization.

Job Requirements

• Should have graduated from one of Nigeria's Universities with a B.Sc (minimum of Second Class Honors, Upper Division) in Accounting.
• Our ideal candidate is aged not more than 25 years old.
