Medicaid Radio-Diagnostic Center is a wholly indigenous company that was established in 2009 and is dedicated to improving the standard of diagnostic services in Nigeria. Medicaid Radio-Diagnostic centre is the first of its kind private facility located in the heart of Abuja, the capital city of Nigeria and is born out of a passion to be the forerunner in the provision of radiological and diagnostic services.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cardiac Sonographer

Job Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities
What you’ll do (in simple terms):


  • Do heart ultrasounds (echocardiograms) and capture clear images.

Perform ECG (heart tracing):

  • Set up and explain 24-hour heart monitoring (Holter/event), then download the results.
  • Assist with treadmill heart test (stress ECG).
  • Explain procedures to patients, keep them comfortable, and handle results safely and confidentially.
  • Take good care of the equipment and follow our quality and safety steps.

Requirements
Who can apply (choose ONE of the two paths):

  • Physiology track
  • B.Sc. in Physiology (or closely related field), plus a recognized training/certification in Echocardiography (attach your certificate).

OR

  • Radiography track
  • B.Rad / B.Sc. in Radiography (or equivalent) with ultrasound/echo training.
  • Must-haves (Nigeria-based):

Nigeria residency/ability to work in Abuja (Wuse & Utako):

  • For Radiographers: Current Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria (RRBN) practising licence.
  • For Physiology graduates: Proof of echo training/certification from a recognized teaching hospital/centre.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certificate (or willingness to obtain within 3 months).
  • Good patient communication and basic computer/PACS skills.
  • Willing to work on some Saturdays).
