A new private medical diagnostic centre at Abijo area of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Position: Cashier

Job Location: Abijo - Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Process transactions by effectively and efficiently handling cash and credit card payments.
• Record all payments into designated databases.
• Manage daily balancing and reconciling of office accounts
• Reconcile cash drawers and sales receipts
• Coordinate activities with the accounting department to ensure the creation of daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Promptly confirming payments and issuing receipts to client
• Monitoring cash flow and managing office expenditure
• Assist at the front desk in handling patient transactions
• Other related duties as and when the need arises

Qualifications

• Graduate in Finance / Accounting related course
• A Minimum of 2 years of experience as a cashier or in a similar role post NYSC
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Customer satisfaction-oriented
• Must reside in Abijo area of Ibeju-Lekki.

Skill Set:

• Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in using electronic equipment such as POS systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
