Job Position: Civil & Structural Engineer

Description

• Develop detailed structural designs for needed production infrastructures e.g pipelines, storage tanks, etc.
• Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure the integrity, safety, and compliance of all structures within the production facility with relevant industry standards and codes.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing structures, identify potential issues, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Create and maintain accurate records of design changes, project progress, and as-built documentation.
• Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful and timely completion of engineering projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate civil and structural design elements into overall project plans.

Requirements

• B.Sc or HND in Engineering or any related field. Professional engineering license is a plus.
• Possess at least 10 years of proven experience in civil/infrastructure projects with achievements of road projects & other production facilities infrastructure.
• Must possess COREN certification. Membership of NSE ,NICE or any other relevant professional engineering society is an added advantage
• In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and methodologies related to upstream oil & gas infrastructure.
• Familiarity with geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, and construction materials.
• Strong project management skills, including project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management. And ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in engineering designs and project execution. And ability to conduct thorough reviews and audits of engineering work.
