Job Description

• We are seeking a results-driven and highly motivated Collection Specialist to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing overdue accounts, engaging customers professionally, and ensuring effective recovery of outstanding payments while maintaining excellent customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Contact clients via phone calls, emails, and text messages to discuss due and overdue payments.
• Negotiate repayment plans and follow up on outstanding debts in a professional manner.
• Review loan agreements, payment histories, and account records to determine appropriate collection strategies.
• Negotiate settlements, restructuring plans, and payment arrangements with customers.
• Maintain accurate records of all communications, payment commitments, and account status in the company’s database/system.
• Provide guidance and support to clients by addressing concerns and offering suitable repayment options.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Experience in Debt Collection, Customer Service, or Financial Services is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets.
