Job Position: Construction Project Manager

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Position Type: Full Time (On-site)

Purpose of Position

• To oversee and manage all aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Architecture and Interior Architecture, as well as expertise in structural knowledge and construction supervision.
• This role requires effective leadership, strategic planning, and excellent project management skills to ensure the successful completion of construction projects within established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:

• Leading and managing construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Collaborating with architects, interior designers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are clearly communicated and executed.
• Overseeing the development and implementation of project plans, including resource allocation, procurement, and risk management.
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with construction standards, safety regulations, and design specifications.
• Monitoring construction progress, resolving any project-related issues or conflicts that may arise, and making adjustments as necessary to maintain project schedules.
• Supervising and providing guidance to project teams, including contractors, subcontractors, and other construction professionals.
• Managing project budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring cost-effective practices throughout the construction process.
• Facilitating effective communication and collaboration among all stakeholders involved in the project.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and other project-related records.?

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Masters degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in architecture and interior architecture projects.
• Proven experience in leading and supervising construction projects, ensuring quality, time, and budget objectives are met.

• Proficient in structural knowledge and experienced in reviewing construction drawings and specifications.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Proficient in using project management software and tools.?
