We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Content Writer
Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• You will develop and work the understanding of content optimization, inbound marketing, Keyword Research, and off-site promotion.

Responsibilities

• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
• Work with our SEO team and content strategists to write clear and concise marketing pieces to promote our products/services.
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics
• Ensure that workflow is efficient and accurate while following deadlines

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or related field.
• Experience working with online content management systems.
• Strong research and copy editing skills
• Basic competency with HTML, CSS and Ms Excel
• Some familiarity with Joomla!, WordPress and Web Publications
• Positive attitude and a team player
