We are providing advanced, curriculum-specific and engaging video lessons, class notes, practice tests and live classes. Afrilearn aims to help young Africans find learning interesting and addictive with storified and animated video lessons served on their mobile devices.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Creative Writer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• We are searching for exceptional creative writers who can break down complex subjects in Mathematics, English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Yoruba and other secondary school subjects into simple, fun and storified scripts.
• Are you one of the Writers ready to change the narrative of education in Africa through creative storytelling?

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM or STEM-related educational related field will be an added advantage.
• Candidates must have deep knowledge of the Nigeria secondary school curricula, alongside excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
• Must be available to work physically from our Ikeja office in Lagos
• Ability to convert education contents to a short storified scripts
• Ability to rewrite a long academic note into short illustrated and relatable script
• Ability to breakdown complex topics into well-understood pieces for student
• Expertise in teaching any of the listed subjects will be an added advantage.
• Ability to relate topics from these subjects into real life daily experiences and knowledge.
