Job Position: ECG Technician

Job Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detailoriented ECG Technician to perform electrocardiogram (ECG) tests and assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with heart related conditions.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate cardiac testing and quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ECG, stress test ECG, and Holter monitoring procedures as required.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining tests and ensuring comfort.
• Accurately place electrodes and operate ECG equipment correctly.
• Monitor patients during procedures and report abnormalities immediately.
• Maintain and calibrate ECG machines and related equipment.
• Label, document, and upload test results appropriately into patient records.
• Ensure infection prevention and control standards are strictly followed.
• Assist in basic patient vital signs monitoring when required.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certification or diploma in ECG Technology, Cardiac Technology, Physiology, Anatomy or related field.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center preferred.
• Good understanding of cardiac rhythms and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle emergency situations calmly.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or oncall if required.
