Job Brief

• We are seeking an experienced and reliable Electrical Electronics Engineer (Power Specialization)to join our team for a large-scale power project involving installation and decommissioning of transformer.
• This role will involve working on the installation, maintenance, and repair of power transformers,HV and LV line.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation of power transformers and associated equipment.
• Ensure routine inspections and testing of transformers.
• Monitor the functionality of BTS.
• Prepare quotation for installation of transformer and connection to the national grid and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults.
• Operate and monitor power substation equipment, including transformers.
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment condition.
• Liaise with BEDC NEMSA for approval of new point load installation
• Occasional travel to visit different location we have transformer installation.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
• Reconciliation of Electric prepaid meter bills and of PPM on sites.
• Have records of all prepaid meters number and time record of when prepaid meter were installed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical work and power projects.
• Strong understanding of transformer operation and maintenance.
• Experienced in grid installation and project knowledge.
• Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
