Your Job


  • Operating a Machine that produces top notch products for ¼ of the world’s population is a hard job, but it’s worth it when you’re recognized often by your manager, supported by your team, and you see the products produced being used by your own friends and family at the end of the day.
  • In this role, the main purpose of the job is to ensure Diaper Manufacturing Operations’ assets are managed, maintained and operated at their maximum efficiencies at all times and that the manufacturing processes on all assets are always under control and continuously improved such that improved quality and higher efficiencies are attained.

Requirements
You will need a:

  • Minimum of a B,Sc / HND. Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent tertiary education.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous engineering and maintenance experience in FMCG environment.

Ideally you also have:

  • Above average computer literacy (required).
  • Prior experience working with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) (advantage)
  • Demonstrated good leadership qualities in line with K.C policies and practices.
  • Excellent design, process improvement and maintenance experience.
  • Excellent PLC programming and drives skills (Siemens/Allan Bradley/Rockwell)
  • Excellent project management skills.
