Hope Givers Care and Support Organization (HGCSO) is an indigenous non-profit making community-based organization that aims at contributing to the global effort geared towards advancing the sexual and reproductive health, right, education and empowerment of vulnerable and marginalized young men in Anambra State.


We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Executive Director
Job Location: Awka, Anambra
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: The BoT – Hope Givers Care and Support Organization, Awka Anambra State

Job Objective

  • Lead the proposal development process for Hope Givers Care and Support Organization
  • Engage with the BoT biannually on strategies to adopt and recommendations for sustainable running of the organization.
  • Routinely review and engage stakeholders on the sustainability of all HGCSO community activities.
  • Routinely review the organization’s Strategic Work Plan and lead in its implementation
  • Oversee (with the Finance Officer) the implementation of recommendations made in every annual audit exercise.
  • Project the core principles of the organization in all dealings of the organization
  • Participate in the recruitment and training of staff to meet specific project requirements.
  • Lead the HGCSO management team in line with the organization’s organogram and policies.
  • Carry out all other duties as may be assigned by the BoT of HGCSO

Minimum Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in any related field of study but having MSc is an advantage.
  • At least 3 years of experience in above mentioned position or similar role
  • Team leader with good interpersonal relationship
  • Must be resident in Anambra state.
  • Can communicate fluently in the local language is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with MS office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Must possess track record of achievements made in leadership positions.
  • Conversant with GF, PEPFAR and USAID financial policies.
