Job Position: Finance Manager

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance manager to join our team.
• The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of financial management principles.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and monitor the company's annual budget, forecasting future financial performance and identifying areas for improvement.
• Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and identify trends in the company's financial performance.
• Manage the cash flow of the company, including monitoring bank balances, managing cash disbursements and receipts, and forecasting future cash requirements.
• Coordinate with department heads to develop financial plans that align with business objectives.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and manage relationships with external auditors and tax consultants.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to members of the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis.
• Professional certification (e.g. ACA (ICAN), CIMA, or ACCA) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial management software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
