Job Description

• Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join its dynamic team
• This role will be reporting to the Managing Director, the role will consist of the following duties but not limited to;

Summary of Role

• The Finance Manager will be responsible for performing professional accounting tasks requiring thorough knowledge of departmental operations and functions
• He/she will be reporting to the MD/CEO
• Performance will be evaluated on ability and effectiveness in carrying out the assigned responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and manage financial activities of the company.
• Prepare and advise company with monthly financial statement and management report.
• Preparing periodic management reports and analysis; delivering same within agreed timelines.
• Timely preparation of bank reconciliation statements and prompt resolution of open items.
• Ensure the effective monitoring and management of the company’s cost base, working capital and cash flow.
• Prepare purchase order, Proforma invoice and Payment voucher.
• Receive payroll and upload for payment and Print pay slips.
• Compile weekly list of account receivables due for payment (credit customers).
• Liaising with external auditors and sales manager.
• Ensure timely submission of all remittance.
• Ensure annual audit requirements are met.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Thorough follow up to ensure financial actions advised are adhered to.
• Budget preparation and control.
• Budget variance analysis.
• Prepare variance report, forward the financial report and variance analysis to the Board.
