Job Position: Home Automation / Smart Building Engineer
Job Location: Garki, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Are you young and passionate about home automation / smart building? Do you have experience in piping, cabling, termination and testing for home automation/smart building services? Do you reside in Abuja? Then, apply for the position of Home Automation/Smart Building Engineer.
• This Job is primarily but not limited to CCTV, IP Camera, Audio/Visual System, Gate Installation, Fire Alarm, TV/Satellite, Solar Power, Internet & networking system, PABX Intercom system and other home automation/smart building services.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Installs conduits and pipes to house extra-low voltage & home automation/smart building cables and devices
• Wiring for extra-low voltage & home automation/smart building services
• Ensures piping & wiring complies with extra-low voltage & home automation/smart building codes
• Test extra-low voltage & home automation/smart building systems to ensure proper installation and operation
• Inspects extra-low voltage & home automation/smart building system to determine whether repairs are needed
• Provide readable & effective site report
• Use Auto CAD blueprints/drawings to carryout extra-low voltage & home automation/Smart building services
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• A minimum of a National diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year experience.
• A good understanding of extra-low voltage & home automation / Smart building, and an equal experience with the job responsibilities above.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Ability to read blueprints
• Good knowledge of computer engineering, extra-low voltage, home automation/smart building and other related engineering disciplines
• Passion for building automation
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Decent behaviour and ability to communicate effectively
• The ability to design extra-low voltage & home automation/smart building blueprints with AutoCAD or its equivalent is an added advantage.
