Job Position: Human Resources Manager

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers.
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions within our client’s organization.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR initiatives that support business goals, ensure compliance with labor laws, and foster a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems in line with organizational objectives
• Manage employee disciplinary processes, grievance handling, and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labor laws and statutory requirements
• Lead learning and development initiatives and support talent growth
• Advise management on workforce planning, compensation, and employee engagement strategies
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare periodic HR reports

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• SHRM-CP certification (compulsory)
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
