About This Role
The ISO 8583 Software Developer will be responsible for development and maintenance of payment applications on terminals devices.

Roles & Responsibilities
•    Participate in design, development, planning, modification/and or improvement of software operational systems.
•    Conceptualize, develop, and analyse engineering ISO8583 payment designs, and implementation
•    Evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products
•    Manage software certification tasks
•    Liaise with acquiring banks and card scheme representatives
•    Support operations team to resolve payment application issuesEducation & Qualification
?    Minimum of five  (5) years’ experience
?    +3 years’ experience in ISO8583 payments.
?    Proven hands-on Software Development experience
?    Proven working experience in Java development
?    Experience in the financial/payments industry
?    Proficient in one programming but not limited to one i.e Java
?    Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
?    Profound insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management etc)
?    Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
?    Experience in the Spring Framework
?    Experience in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
?    Experience with test-driven development
