Job Position: Front End Developer

Job Location: Nigeria (Remote)
Employment Type: Volunteer

About the Role

• We are seeking a skilled and passionate Volunteer Front-End Developer to support our growing digital projects.
• This role is ideal for someone with solid experience in WordPress, can interpret UI/UX designs, and is familiar with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
• A modest monthly stipend will be provided in appreciation of your time and contribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert UI / UX mockups into responsive, interactive websites
• Develop and maintain WordPress websites (custom themes, plugins, etc.)
• Work with modern frameworks (React, Vue, or similar) for web apps and dashboards
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services
• Optimize website performance and troubleshoot front-end issues
• Contribute to sprint planning and regular updates with the team

Requirements

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Solid experience with WordPress development
• Ability to interpret designs from Figma, Adobe XD, etc.
• Working knowledge of React or similar frameworks
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and back-end integration
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills.
