The first company, Veepee Industries Limited started its production with the polyethylene extrusion, printing, cutting and packaging industry to go through a revolution. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: IT Support Technician

Job Location: Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

• We are looking for a qualified IT Support Technician that will install and maintain computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality.
• You will also “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

• Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
• Strong knowledge of in Windows 7, Windows 10 and Windows Server OS
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
• Help Desk / Technical Support - Troubleshooting, resolving, repairing Hardware / Software related Problems.
• Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
• This includes Checking computer hardware (HDD, mouse, keyboards etc.) to ensure the functionality
• Email client configuration and troubleshooting (Outlook and Others)
• LAN & WAN - demonstrable knowledge of LAN Cabling, monitoring and providing timely support.
• PTP Radio configuration and Monitoring Knowledge
• Knowledge of Wireless configuration and Testing, Knowledge of TCP/IP inclusive.
• Active Directory user migration and join domain with proper details
• Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
• Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
• Tally ERP/SAP – Hands-on Experience working on Tally ERP/SAP, including daily backups to ensure proprietary data of the company remains safe
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
• Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders

Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field, Proven experience as IT Support Technician or relevant position
• 1 - 5 years of work experience.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Soft Skills: Communication, organizational and time-management skills
• In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Certification as IT Technician will be an advantage (e.g. CompTIA A+, N+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional).

Salary
N65,000 monthly.
