The License enables EMTS provide Fixed Telephony (wired or wireless), Digital Mobile Services, International Gateway Services and National/Regional Long Distance Services in addition to spectrum assignments in the 900 and 1800 MHz bands.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Manager, Banking Relationships

Job Summary
- Oversee treasury liquidity and cash management and manage local and foreign banking relationships.
Principal Functions
- Develop and maintain an effective relationship with local and foreign banks, Financial Institutions (i.e. CBN NDIC) etc
- Responsible for the implementation and management of treasury operational processes and trade finance related transactions.
- Ensure compliance to the company treasury processes, company policy guiding treasury activities and all regulatory/statutory laws.
- Maintain procedure descriptions of all treasury activities under the scope.
- Oversee all the trade finance related transactions
- Ensure that all payments and receivables are captured on the ERP
- Oversee and enforce the Advance Payment Bonds and Bank Guarantees in Treasury
- Develop and enforce the treasury policies, processes and procedures that have been developed
- Ensure that Certificate of Capital Importation (CCI) are issued within 24 hours after receipt of the capital inflow and relevant documentation
- Develop processes to optimize cash and liquidity management
- Manage all month and year end reporting deadlines in compliance with the Group's directives and guidelines
- Liaise with IT for matters with treasury/financial content; play an active key-user role in projects for functionality in the treasury/financial domain
- Provide advice and participate in the solution of specific treasury / financial-related issues for all entities.
- Carry out all assigned tasks as directed by the Director, Treasury & Corporate Finance.
Educational Requirements
- First Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
- Professional qualification (CIMA, CFA, ACCA, ICAN, etc) an added advantage

2.) Manager, Employee Relations Management & Compliance

Job Summary
- Implement strategies and align policies with EMTS toward attracting and retaining the culture fit talent organization wide.
- Coordinate the creation, review and implementation of policies and procedures resulting from new laws and regulations in EMTS.
Principal Functions
Tactical:
- Advice Head, Outsourcing and HR Operations on new pay practices and recommends options for the business.
- Develop and ensure regular updates of the HR policy manual/ Staff Handbook
- Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR policies
- Ensure awareness, understanding and compliance of HR policies across the business
- Monitor filing of regulatory reports and documentation
- Propose strategies for aligning the company's engagement philosophy with industry and market realities.
- Design and deploy initiatives to increase health literacy among employees.
- Ensure the Risk compliance targets are tracked and monitored for implementation.
Operational:
- Manage the HR Helpdesk and ensure effectivere solution of issues
- Develop and maintain an up-to-date record of Staff information in line with NDPR (physical & electronic)
- Manage the HRIS, liaising with other HR units for process automations and other HR technology needs
- Manage the process of onboarding to ensure necessary documentation are fully carried out for new employees
- Manage relationships between EMTS and Outsourced companies to ensure smooth operations and satisfactory performance
- Manage the disciplinary process for fair and transparent resolution of the disciplinary issues
- Coordinate training on new and or updated policies and directives as required.
- Track all HR-related audit queries and ensure appropriate and timely closure of these queries
- Advice line managers on compensation for new hires.
- Communicate updates and changes to compensation structure to staff.
- Manage relationships with HMOs and ensure effective health care administration
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members and manage subordinate's performance towards the achievement of overall team objectives.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the CHRO.
Educational Requirements

3.) Specialist, Wholesale Carriers Business Settlements & Collections

Job Location: Lagos
Job Summary
- Coordinate and manage the telarix billing system, SLAs and contract agreements on traffic exchange with existing and potential partners. Manage wholesale partners, invoicing, payment and collection.
Principal Functions
- Monitor and ensure prompt and accurate update of billing rates on Telarix - iXTools interconnect platform.
- Update the price list received from each carrier and ensure routing changes are made based on Direct and Least Cost Routing.
- Analyse event detail records (EDRS)and resolve any dispute that may arise on all presented invoices using Audit Command Language (ACL)
- Liaise with finance and wholesale and carrier relation to ensure partner invoices are paid as at when due.
- Extract and analyse daily, weekly and monthly interconnect traffic data and generate EDRS reports for interconnect partners based on request.
- Liaise with prospective interconnect partners to resolve all interconnect issues
- Coordinate and review partner draft agreements with Legal and other stakeholders
- Provide routing instruction via the interconnect platform to network operations team.
- Identify and escalate billing system's inadequacies and offering solutions.
- Set up new interconnect partners on Telarix platform and ensure strict compliance with billing and invoicing clauses as provided in the contracts.
- Prepare weekly partner statement of accounts, update subsidiary books in the Carrier business folder with invoices and other source data for referencing in any recurring issue or dispute settlement.
- Treat all EDRS sitting in Telarix -iXConnect error bucket and ensure they are completely resolved before processing interconnect invoices.
- Generate all partner invoices on the Telarix -iX Tools, receive interconnect partner invoices and ensure wholesale clients and interconnect partners are billed accurately and promptly
- Negotiate bilateral agreements with potential international carrier/operator
- Reconcile monthly partners statement of account
- Provide least cost routing (LCR)reports for international destinations.
- Interpret interconnect traffic pattern and escalate unusual traffic trends
- Perform other duties as assign by the Manager, Carrier Relations.
4.) Engineer, NOC

Job Location: Abuja
Job Summary
- Handle network monitoring and surveillance, track network incidents and assist with the resolution of all network issues.
Principal Functions
- 24/7 monitoring of active and passive network nodes (RAN, IP, Core, VAS, Transmission, Data centre passive equipment and enterprise solutions)
- Escalation of alarms, outages, dips, degradation, and other failures to field and BO teams for support, COF, and resolution
- Follow-up with resolver teams for resolution of network faults and incidents
- Management of incident tickets (TT creation, assignment, tracking, update, and closure) within SLA
- Provision of support for troubleshooting of POF and COF for network incidents
- Provision of support for field engineers in checking current alarms and operational status to ensure they are guided appropriately in fault resolution
- Interfacing (escalation and resolution follow-up) on network faults and incidents with other service providers (Colocation service providers, lease lines and interconnect service providers, etc.)
- Notify customers of problems on enterprise services and provide regular periodic updates on ongoing resolution actions till service restoration
- Work with back office to ensure visibility of all network nodes
- Process access to MGWs, BSCs, data centres and network sites for maintenance and troubleshooting
- Provision of regular periodic updates on all network faults and incidents
- Send notifications for planned/unplanned outages to all stakeholders
- Provide operations primary point of interface for enterprise customers and partners
- Conduct initial demarcation of enterprise customers and partners complaints
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Incident and Surveillance Manager
Educational Requirements
- First Degree or equivalent in Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related discipline
- Two (2) years post NYSC work experience
