Your Key Responsibilities
- Your role as a Tax Senior will give you the opportunity to combine corporate tax work with structured and virtual learning.
- Our curriculum will build your career in tax; includes work experience in tax compliance, tax accrual reviews, tax provisions and tax planning.
- Our people work on key client issues in domestic corporate income taxation, with a focus on implementing tax strategies that align with the client's business objectives.

Requirements
To qualify for the role you must have
- Either:
- A Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an emphasis in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Either:
- Attained or close to qualifying for an accounting designation (CPA or equivalent) or Completed or enrolled in a Masters of Taxation program.
- Exceptional PC proficiency including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- The ability to manage time spent against budget and work alongside team members to ensure the timely completion of exceptional client service
- Excellent managerial, organizational, and verbal/written communication skills

2.) Manager, Regulatory Compliance

The Opportunity
- As a Regulatory Compliance Manager, you will be a part of our Regulatory and Company Secretarial team.
- You will be part of a team who identifies planning opportunities to help clients fulfill compliance responsibilities, avoid penalties as well as minimize compliance burdens.

Your Key Responsibilities
- As a manager, you will advise on multiple and challenging Regulatory advisory and compliance engagements and to contribute to the delivery of innovative solutions and regulatory planning ideas for our diverse clients.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (at least a second-class upper division)
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant regulatory compliance experience or equivalent experience in business or industry
- Excellent managerial, organizational and communication skills.

- Undertaking legal and regulatory research and assess and evaluate the impact of changes in applicable legislation and best international practices

- Identifying opportunities to sell regulatory advisory and compliance services
- Maintaining effective client relationships

- Participating and assisting in reaching client service team goals
- Collaborating on business development initiatives in specific industries targeting practice growth
- Drafting regulatory alerts, thought leadership materials about changes to legislation and regulations or following policy statements or judgements
- Coordinating a program of training and capacity-building activities for the team covering all key areas of compliance and regulatory developments
- Identifying, understanding, and escalating clients’ compliance risk events/issues in a timely manner and focusing on fixing the root causes of the issues.
- Monitoring the implementation status of agreed-upon action points aimed at driving compliance
- Managing clients’ compliance obligations
- Supporting clients in regulatory compliance, including the timely preparation and submission of regulatory filings such as annual returns, or a timely response to regulatory circulars.

3.) Manager - Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR)

Role Overview
- The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, providing tax audit and controversy support services, and preparing various financial reports.
- This position encompasses a wide range of service offerings within the GCR Unit for Non-oil companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit tax returns in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Identify and mitigate tax-related risks, implementing robust controls and processes.
- Provide support in Tax Controversy matters, assisting clients in navigating disputes with tax authorities.
- Handle Income Tax Compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to local and international tax laws.
- Manage Tax Accounting, Provisioning, and Reporting, ensuring accurate tax provisions and compliance with relevant standards.
- Manage Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) processes, ensuring all compliance obligations are met.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting reports according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), include compilation of annual statutory reports in line with IFRS provisions.
- Oversee Payroll Operations, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations and timely submissions.
- Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, promoting a collaborative culture.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions across all service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (BSc/HND) in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field (minimum of 2.1/upper credit).
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience in tax and accounting compliance & reporting, with a strong track record in a senior role.
- Professional or postgraduate qualifications (ICAN, ACCA, CITN, MBA) are advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of local and international tax regulations and IFRS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple clientsand projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A knowledge of Oil and Gas is an Added advantage.
