We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Head of Business

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job type: Full-time (Onsite)

About the Role

  • The Nigerian College of Agribusiness (NCA) is recruiting a dynamic, commercially minded, and results driven professional for the position of Head of Business.
  • This senior leadership role is responsible for driving enrollments, marketing, business development, partnerships, and revenue growth across all academic and professional programs of the College.
  • The ideal candidate must be vibrant, confident, strategic, and capable of generating strong numbers through innovative outreach and market engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive student enrollments across all NCA postgraduate, professional, and certification programs
  • Lead national and regional marketing campaigns, digital promotions, and brand visibility
  • Build, manage, and expand partnerships with farms, agribusinesses, ministries, NGOs, and private sector organisations
  • Develop and execute business strategies that increase revenue for the College and its Centres
  • Manage the full enrollment funnel: lead generation, nurturing, conversion, onboarding, and retention
  • Coordinate national outreach activities for South West, South South, and Northern Nigeria training hubs
  • Identify new business opportunities, corporate training prospects, and institutional partnerships
  • Represent NCA at conferences, exhibitions, workshops, and partnership meetings
  • Oversee marketing budgets, content planning, and digital communication channels
  • Conduct market research to support new programs and emerging training needs
  • Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports
  • Work closely with the Head of Programs to align growth strategies with program delivery capacity
  • Ensure efficient and professional communication across all student and corporate touchpoints

Requirements
Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
  • Strong background in sales, enrollment management, marketing, or business development
  • Proven track record of hitting growth targets in education, training, consulting, or similar industries
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to lead initiatives, convert leads, and drive revenue independently
  • Vibrant, proactive, entrepreneurial, and able to work without supervision
  • Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Ibadan or willing to relocate.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required for business engagements

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with higher education enrollments or professional training markets
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and conversion funnels
  • Experience building public and private sector partnerships
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute new business ideas

2.) Finance & Admin Officer

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job type: Full-time (Onsite)

About the Role

  • The Nigerian College of Agribusiness (NCA) is seeking a diligent, trustworthy, and highly organised professional for the position of Finance & Admin Officer. This role is central to the smooth financial and administrative operation of the College and supports both academic and professional programs.
  • The ideal candidate must be accurate, disciplined, results oriented, and capable of managing finance and administrative processes with minimal supervision. Integrity is critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all financial transactions including invoicing, receipts, and payment confirmations for academic and professional programs
  • Handle weekly and monthly reconciliation of bank statements, tuition payments, and program revenues
  • Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation for audits and reporting
  • Manage petty cash, procurement, and expense tracking within approved limits
  • Prepare monthly income and expenditure reports, including centre-specific revenue reports
  • Assist with budgeting, financial planning, and program cost analysis
  • Handle administrative functions including staff records, document filing, and office coordination
  • Support student onboarding by providing payment guidance and administrative documentation
  • Support logistics and operations during academic and professional training programs
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards
  • Maintain vendor relationships and process vendor payments
  • Prepare financial inputs for weekly, monthly, and quarterly institutional reports

Requirements
Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial documentation
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and basic proficiency in accounting tools or software
  • High level of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Must be residing in or willing to relocate to Ibadan or its environs
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience working with educational institutions, training organisations, NGOs, or professional bodies
  • Experience preparing financial reports or supporting audits
  • Familiarity with digital payment systems and CRM tools
  • Experience handling procurement and expense control

3.) Business Development Executive

About the Role

  • The Nigerian College of Agribusiness (NCA) is recruiting energetic, ambitious, and results-driven professionals for the role of Business Development Executive (BDE) across two strategic regions: North and South.
  • This is a field-focused business role responsible for driving program enrollments, regional partnerships, corporate outreach, and market expansion for all NCA programs.
  • The ideal candidates must be proactive, confident, excellent communicators, and passionate about agribusiness, education, and market development. These roles form the backbone of NCA’s national expansion system.

Additional Information:

  • Business Development Executive – North Region: (Based in Abuja or Kaduna; covers NW, NE, and NC states)
  • Business Development Executive – South Region: (Based in Lagos, Ibadan, Benin, or Port Harcourt; covers SW, SS, and SE states)

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive student and participant enrollments for all NCA professional programs
  • Conduct regional outreach to farms, agribusinesses, ministries, ADPs, NGOs, cooperatives, and universities
  • Represent NCA in local engagements, exhibitions, field visits, and cluster mobilization
  • Manage and grow regional WhatsApp communities and digital outreach channels
  • Execute corporate and institutional partnership strategies in collaboration with the Head of Business
  • Identify local training opportunities, corporate engagements, and sponsored program possibilities
  • Coordinate basic logistics during field events and trainings within the assigned region
  • Conduct regular market research to identify new opportunities for NCA programs
  • Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports on leads, conversions, and partnerships
  • Strengthen NCA’s regional presence and brand visibility
  • Support the Head of Business in meeting revenue and enrollment targets

Requirements
Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any field (Marketing, Agriculture, Business, or Social Sciences is an advantage)
  • Strong experience in sales, field marketing, community outreach, or business development
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasive skills
  • Familiarity with agribusiness environments, value chains, NGOs, or agricultural clusters (added advantage)
  • Strong digital marketing and WhatsApp engagement skills
  • High confidence, energy, and ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Must reside in the region of application (North or South)
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region when necessary

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in higher education enrollment or training sectors
  • Experience engaging Ministries, Departments & Agencies (MDAs), NGOs, or cooperatives
  • Ability to build relationships quickly and convert leads to enrollment
  • Good presentation and public speaking ability
