Rainoil Limited is an integrated downstream oil and gas company. A prominent player in the Nigerian industry, the company’s operations span across the downstream value chain i.e. Petroleum Product Storage, Haulage/Distribution and Retail Sales. Our primary products include Petrol (PMS), Diesel (AGO) and Kerosene (DPK).

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Maintenance Officer

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Description


  • Responsible for maintenance and upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Maintenance operations on the depot, manufacturing and any other core business division’s equipment and facilities.
  • Inspects work for completeness and alignment with service level agreements.
  • Schedules repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Coordinates or inspects, operates, and maintains the heating, cooling and ventilation.
  • Confers with workers to resolve grievances concerning equipment.
  • Determines material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Transfers equipment and personnel from one project to another as necessary.
  • Keeps timecards and other routine records of the maintenance activities.
  • maintains the electrical, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems in all core business locations.
  • Stocks and organises maintenance shop with tools, parts and machinery needed for repair and maintenance as well as anticipating future needs.
  • 1Assists Department Managers in locating and directing subcontractors needed for building maintenance and improvements deemed necessary.
  • Manages the shift and overtime of technicians where necessary.
  • Implements HSE standards in the maintenance activities.

Experience

  • Minimum of Second Class Upper in Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc / HND) in Engineering
  • Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably in the operations / Maintenance Department

2.) Chief Security Officer

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Description

  • To oversee all security-related matters at the Rainoil Ijegun Petroleum depot.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Advises management on security implications and requirements.
  • Drives the implementation of the annual security budget and ensures spends are within the limits of the department.
  • Implements measures to ensure adequate security of employees, clients, and assets of the depot.
  • Provides insights on own areas (e.g. theft and fraud prevention, physical privacy) for Business Continuity Planning
  • Manages the shift and overtime of the security officers.
  • Provides the gear and equipment necessary for the security officers to perform their daily activities and allocates other necessary resources Liaises with the police or fire departments or law enforcement agencies in cases of emergency.
  • Prepares reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage and other issues escalated by the security officers and presents them to the Executive Director.
  • Oversees incidence response planning as well as investigating security breaches.
  • Ensures the dissemination of information concerning security policies and approved procedures on asset protection, theft prevention, workplace violence prevention, access control systems, video surveillance etc. to depot staff on a regular basis.
  • Allocates security officers to various posts and locations and determines the scope of work to be done as well as the timelines.
  • Performs periodic training of the officers concerning leading practices in Security as well as HSE guidelines.
  • Enforces safety processes in all the activities of the security officers.
  • Analyses the Security unit’s manpower needs and raises requisition for additional officers if necessary.
  • Manages the performance of each of the security officers and appraises them periodically.

Experience

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences or any discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of cognate experience in an organisation or a security agency
  •  At least 2 years of Senior command experience in security force (e.g. Military, security service)

3.) Dispatch Officer

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job type: Full-time

Description

  • This role is responsible for the preparation of waybills and invoices for loaded trucks and recording daily activities with respect to stock movement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supervises the activities of the Ullager(s) and ensures that their activities conform with service level standards.
  • Acts as first line supervisor for designated ullaging staff, including hiring, training, and overseeing work.
  • Reconciles daily loading with the operations and sales staff.
  • Analyses and interprets the ullage figures with the calibration charts.
  • Monitors the operations of applicable safety equipment and e equipment is properly maintained to ensure the effectiveness of operations.
  • Collects loading tickets from the ullagers or customers and recording them.
  • Keeps a database of depot activities.
  • Ensures accuracy in the tickets and invoicing.
  • Facilitates the ticketing and approval of load orders as well as dispatch approval.
  • Prepares automated waybill and invoices for loaded trucks and uses manual waybills where necessary.

Experience

  • Minimum of Second Class Upper in Bachelor's Degree / Upper Credit in HND in a Social Science, Accounting, Finance, Engineering or related discipline is required
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in the operations department in the Oil and Gas industry.
