We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Station Cashier

Job Location: Abraka, Edo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the petty cash inflow and outflow of Rainoil's stations and depots as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
  • Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
  • Reconcile all received cash, which has been recorded in the petty cash book, with expenses.
  • Process payment for accounts and issue receipts.
  • Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
  • Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
  • Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits and deadlines for retirements, etc.
  • Retire the various imprest accounts.
  • Keep records of amounts received and paid, and regularly check the cash balance against this record.
  • Collect money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements.
  • File all documents concerning cash payment and collection.
  • Prepare daily and weekly collections and payment summary reports for review by the station supervisor.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of an HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of One (1) year of work experience in a similar role.

2.) HSE Officer

Job Location: Delta
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Description

  • To work proactively with managers who seek to establish and maintain a system that promotes a culture of safe working practices across the organization thereby reducing the risk of potential losses.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Monitor the inspection of trucks periodically to ascertain roadworthiness as well as escalate any current or potential issues.
  • Perform periodic safety drills e.g., fire drills to ascertain the workers understand the process in case of an emergency.
  • Ensure that the business is compliant with statutory, regulatory, industry, and other HSE requirements.
  • Identify potential business hazards and make recommendations where necessary to the Head of Safety.
  • Make sure that personal protective equipment, such as dust masks, safety glasses, footwear, and safety helmets, is being used in workplaces according to regulations.
  • Coordinate the training of personnel in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident prevention and investigation, workplace inspections, and other matters related to implementing safety procedures in facilities.
  • Supervise the implementation of designed safety policies and procedures.
  • Inspect safety tools and equipment e.g., sprinklers, fire extinguishers, etc.
  • Maintain effective relationships with relevant external agencies and emergency response service providers (e.g. Fire Service, emergency services, HMO, environmental agency, etc.)
  • Coordinate emergency procedures, Depot rescues, firefighting, and first aid crews.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of HND in Engineering, Sciences, Social Sciences, Administration, or Humanities.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the Safety and/or Environment role in the Oil & Gas or Manufacturing Industry.
  • HSE Certifications are desired.

3.) LPG Plant Cashier

Job Locations: Ogwashi-uku & Ughelli - Delta
Employment Type: Full Time

Job Summary

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the petty cash inflow and outflow, receiving and verifying payments as well as maintaining accurate records/books on transactions, lodgements, and petty cash expenses.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the availability of funds to meet day-to-day operational petty cash expenses and emergencies.
  • Maintain records to allow easy disbursement, reconciliation, and replenishment.
  • Keep records of amounts received and paid, and regularly checks the cash balance against this record.
  • Collects money from the bank for safekeeping before reimbursements
  • File all documents concerning cash payment and collection
  • Process expense retirement ledgers to ensure proper accountability of all cash advances.
  • Create and maintain records of cash requests and disbursements.
  • Reconcile all received cash with expenses, which have been recorded in the petty cash book.
  • Process payment for accounts and issue receipts.
  • Respond to queries regarding approvals, payment limits, retirement deadlines, etc.
  • Retire the various imprest accounts.
  • Prepare daily and weekly Sales Collections and Expense Reports for review by the Plant Supervisor and Accounts Officer (Treasury).

Person Specification

  • Minimum of Bachelor's Degree / HND in Finance / Accounting or any related discipline.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in the Finance/ Treasury / Accounts function in a similar organization.
