St. Dominic Catholic Hospital is a 64 bed hospital located in Ogungbade, off New Ife road Ibadan. St Dominic Catholic Hospital is the vision of the Dominican Sisters of St Catherine of Siena (Italy). We offer various medical services such as: General medicine, internal medicine, O & G, Laboratory, and Radiology, to mention just a few. The hospital is run in collaboration with foreign partners. We are registered and licensed by the Corporate Affairs Commission and the Ministry of Health. Also, we are accredited by the NHIS as both primary and secondary healthcare providers.
We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:
1.) Registered Nurse / Midwife
Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for women during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum.
- Conduct prenatal and postnatal examinations.
- Provide education and support to women and their families on pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.
- Take/Assist with deliveries and perform midwifery procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Stay current with evidence-based practice and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Midwifery or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Registered Nurse Midwife.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse / Midwife with the relevant professional body.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Resident in Ibadan (Iwo Road, New Ife Road axis).
Salary
N80,000 - N170,000 / Month.

- Authorization Management: Obtain and manage insurance authorizations for treatments and procedures.
- Claims Management: Assist with claims submission, follow-up, and resolution.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on insurance coverage, benefits, and financial responsibilities.
- Policy Compliance: Ensure compliance with insurance policies, regulations, and hospital procedures.
