We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Account Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Purpose of the Role


  • Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payments
  • Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, refunds, and preparing/mailing invoices

Responsibilities

  • Preparing work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information
  • Paying invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payments
  • Obtaining of revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, refunds, and preparing/mailing invoices
  • Collecting revenue and notifying customers of insufficient payments
  • Resolving account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments
  • Maintaining financial security by following internal accounting controls
  • Securing financial information by completing database backups
  • Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
  • Maintaining accounting ledgers by posting account transactions
  • Verifying accounts by reconciling statements and transactions
  • Maintaining financial historical records by filing accounting documents
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Intermediate - Advanced Excel
  • Must have experience in the advertising industry

2.) Sales Manager (Luxury Boutique)

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field;
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive sales experience managing a large team in luxury retail business, selling to High Net-worth Individuals, government agencies/parastatals and corporate organizations;
  • Integrity;
  • Team and relationship management ability;
  • Good analytical and numerical skill;
  • Professional certifications would be an added advantage;
  • Proven experience in affluent banking, private banking or exclusive banking managing HNIs
  • Strong work ethic;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Packages.

3.) Senior Financial Controller

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Ensures Group reporting on time and at the expected level of quality while guaranteeing compliance with accounting, tax, local and legal standards and procedures, as well as internal control.
  • Guarantee the good financial management of the company.
  • Control the proper execution of the strategy and procedures defined with management and coordinate the services for which he is responsible.

Responsibilities
Cost and Project Fnancial Control:

  • Review and continuous management of project P&L.
  • Ensure accuracy of WIP and Accrual valuations and their compliance with the group policy.
  • Ensure proper management of General and Administrative expenses.
  • Manage project level treasury
  • Ensure timely billing of the WIP and compliance with the customers requirement for billing terms.

Administrative Management:

  • Implement and monitor the internal control systems established by the group and define local internal control activities for areas not covered by the group policies.
  • Set up the management procedures and indicators necessary for monitoring activities and reporting to management.

Accounting, Management Control, Reporting:

  • Guarantee the reliability of the revenue and cost data in accordance with the local legislation and group policy.
  • Calculate the provisions, cost accruals and WIP at the end of each reporting period.
  • Prepare the budget and the business plan in accordance with the strategic choices of the shareholder and the general management.
  • Review the financial information prepared by operations department for accuracy and compliance with the set rules.
  • Ensure that the project teams comply with deadlines and procedures and ensure the production the project data required for any reporting need.
  • Take ownership of the P&L reporting to the management.

Project Cash flow and Billing of WIP:

  • Develop the project level financing plans and validate the cash requirements for each project.
  • Manage movable and real estate assets.
  • Evaluate the request for project budget variations and submit to the Finance director to validate on a timely basis.
  • Follow the timely clearance of the WIP and transfer of billing documents to the AR department.

Business Law, Taxation:

  • Control the Tax compliance by during the procurement and sales invoicing process.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, ensure legal and contractual monitoring.

Human Resources:

  • Manage the project financial controller team.
  • Provide necessary training to the different stakeholders in relation to financial control and group policies.

Information system, organization, procedures:

  • Pilot the implementation of new management tools, such as ERP, Reporting tools and so on.

Communication:

  • Guarantee the reliability of financial information.
  • Ensure relations with regulatory authorities.

Pre-Sales and Sales:

  • Support the sales department to prepare project P&L for bidding or any other purposes.

Purchases:

  • Support operational staff in negotiations with suppliers.

Internal Audit:

  • Supervise the internal audit missions of the company's departments

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance-Accounting, Control-Accounting, Audit with a minimum of 3 years of experience as financial controller in the construction sector.
  • Knowledge And Skills Required: Knowledge of finance, accounting, Tax and business law, taxation audit support, statutory audit support, management control.
