The Company’s security is backed by a consortium of local and foreign re-insurers led by African Reinsurance Corporation. We are licensed and regulated by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).

We are recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions below:

1.) Underwriter

Job Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Review insurance proposals, completed forms, supporting documentation, and risk information.
  • Assess the nature of risk exposures using underwriting guidelines, actuarial principles, and historical data.
  • Determine appropriate coverage limits, premiums, deductibles, and terms of acceptance.
  • Decide whether to accept, decline, or modify applications in line with underwriting authority limits.
  • Collaborate with brokers, agents, and marketing teams to clarify risk details and negotiate terms.
  • Prepare quotations, underwriting recommendations, and policy documentation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely issuance of policy endorsements, renewals, and cancellations.
  • Maintain proper documentation of underwriting decisions and approvals.
  • Track and manage renewal portfolios to ensure retention targets are achieved.
  • Ensure adherence to internal underwriting standards, reinsurance arrangements, and regulatory requirements (including NAICOM guidelines where applicable).
  • Monitor portfolio performance and claims trends to identify high-risk areas or emerging exposure patterns.
  • Escalate unusual or high-value risks for senior review or reinsurance consultation.
  • Work closely with claims, finance, marketing, and risk management teams to support business objectives.
  • Provide technical underwriting support and guidance to sales teams and branch operations.
  • Respond to customer and broker inquiries regarding underwriting decisions and policy terms.
  • Participate in product development reviews and underwriting process improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and regulatory changes.
  • Contribute to training initiatives for junior underwriters and operational teams.

Educational Qualification and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Professional insurance certification (e.g., CIIN, ACII) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant underwriting experience, in an insurance company.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
  • Good understanding of underwriting principles, insurance products, and pricing.

2.) Investment / Treasury Officer

Job Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage daily treasury operations, including cash positioning, bank account management, and fund transfers, to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and investment needs.
  • Oversee and manage investment portfolios in line with approved investment policies, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor cash flow forecasts, liquidity levels, and funding requirements to support operational and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct investment analysis, including yield assessment, risk evaluation, and market trend analysis, to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare periodic investment performance reports, portfolio summaries, and treasury dashboards for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory investment limits, internal investment policies, and guidelines issued by regulatory authorities such as NAICOM.
  • Liaise with fund managers, banks, custodians, and other financial institutions to manage investment transactions and treasury activities.
  • Monitor interest rate movements, market developments, and economic indicators that may impact investment performance.
  • Support asset-liability management initiatives and contribute to financial risk management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate investment and treasury records, documentation, and reconciliations to support audit and reporting requirements.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing investment and treasury-related documentation and explanations.

Educational Qualification and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5–8 years of relevant experience in investment management, treasury operations, or asset management, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector.
  • Professional certification such as CFA, ACA, ACCA, or related investment qualifications is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in portfolio management, liquidity management, and investment reporting.

Skills & Abilities:

3.) Admin / Procurement Officer

Job Location: Lagos 

Responsibilities

  • Execute procurement activities in line with approved procurement policies, procedures, and budgets to ensure value for money.
  • Identify, source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and service providers, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with agreed service standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including performance monitoring, contract administration, and resolution of service-related issues.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and related procurement documentation, ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records, vendor databases, and asset registers in line with internal control requirements.
  • Coordinate office administration activities including logistics, facility management, inventory control, and general office support services.
  • Support the management of office facilities, utilities, equipment, and maintenance services to ensure a safe and functional work environment.
  • Prepare periodic procurement and administrative reports for management review, including spend analysis and vendor performance reports.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by providing required procurement and administrative documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, ethical procurement standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Educational Qualification and Training

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, administration, or a similar role, preferably within a structured organization.
  • Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management is an added advantage.
