1.) Route to Market Analyst

Description
- To enable data-driven decision-making for Lafarge Africa’s commercial transformation by synthesizing Route-to-Market (RTM) performance data, Commercial Capability metrics, and market insights.
- This role accelerates ROI through analytics that optimize sales force productivity, RTM execution, and distributor profitability.] The role collaborates with stakeholders and other analysts across the business.
What you'll be doing
Data Synthesis & Performance Tracking:
- Serve as the single point of contact for RTM and commercial excellence data analysis, collating inputs from Salesforce automation tools, distributor P&Ls, and field reports.
- Track KPIs tied to RTM projects and capability initiatives.
Insight Generation & Strategic Support:
- Analyze market trends and commercial team competency gaps to prioritize training interventions.
- Model distributor profitability scenarios and RTM expansion opportunities (e.g., new geographies, channel partners)
Project Governance & SFA Tool Enablement:
- Support RTM project PMO through data-driven updates to Steering Committees (e.g., KPI trends, ROI forecasts).
- Maintain Sales Force Automation tools ensuring data accuracy and user proficiency across sales teams and 3rd-party field forces.
- Monitor outlet visit planning and coverage efficiency.
- Managing the administrative processes relating to the SFA tool (e.g vendor management, user onboarding, complaint management)
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Partner with Commercial & Logistics Performance, S&OP, and HR teams to align data models with commercial strategy.
- Translate complex analyses into executive-ready presentations for Commercial Leadership Team (CLT)
What we are looking for
- 3 - 5 years in data analysis roles, preferably in FMCG, building materials, or retail.
- Experience synthesizing cross-functional data (sales,logistics, finance) into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to design executive dashboards and track project KPIs
- Mastery of Route To Market frameworks and commercial KPIs (sales force productivity, ROI, Distributor profitability).
- Proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and CRM/SFA tools, Route Mapping tools.
- Understanding of Nigeria’s construction materials market dynamics.

2.) Category Manager, Raw & Packaging Materials

- Drive and be accountable for category performance and initiatives in own Country and others where responsibility has been assigned in the category charter.
- Where and when appropriate participate in regional or global category management teams representing own Country
Responsibilities
What you'll be doing:
- Participate in the management of cluster categories for the Lafarge group by representing own Country in cross-functional teams with full accountability for category performance
- Develop Procurement category strategies as a member of the category management team that are integrated and aligned with overall global strategies, and with the Lafarge business
- Drive the realization of savings, supply efficiency, quality, and process improvements in own and other Countries, in line with regional and global strategies.
- Identify saving opportunities and initiate individual projects and initiatives at all operational levels
- Where and when appropriate represent and serve other Countries without direct category management representation for the respective category(ies) and be accountable for delivery of savings in these and own Country
- Drive initiatives and projects, identify and remove potential barriers to success
- Ensure that local strategies are integrated and in alignment with the regional and global category approach and Lafarge stakeholders.
- Align stakeholders through focused change management programs
- In line with regional and global strategies, design and execute strategic projects and targets
- Ensure the implementation and tracking of performance indicators and achieved results.
- Assume full accountability for delivering targeted bottom line results for each category
- Provide regular reports and updates to local, regional and/or global governing bodies (councils) as required
- Ensure that own Country execute the category strategy and actions as required and agreed. Where compliance is an issue, find and eliminate root causes
- Initiating and supporting the RFx processes locally as defined by strategy
- Ensure that the procurement initiatives tracking tool where implemented (PITT) is kept up-to-date for own initiatives and projects
- Where and when appropriate participate in regional or global category teams to ensure the successful implementation of strategy and achievement of targets and results.
- Where and when appropriate represent own Country as a member of the regional or global category teams (participation level determined by Country spend) to establish strategies and initiatives

Requirements
Who we are looking for:
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc./HND
- Minimum 5 years in strategic procurement role (category management, sourcing) with exposure to supply chain management, complex strategic sourcing and optimal procurement processes and standards
- Demonstrated performance in working within cross-functional teams, with requisite drive and energy to ensure that a challenging benefits and capability building agenda is successfully delivered
- Engineering or Operational back ground would be advantages
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively/convincingly at all levels (including technical and operational) and with all functions at least in English
- Highly effective time management, planning and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and drive tasks to completion in a fixed time-frame and in a pressured environment
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and build relationships across multiple functions, countries, regions and cultures
- Demonstrated broad understanding of the content, processes and delivery channels in the field of the assigned categories
- Ability to deal with ambiguities, conflicts and adversarial relationships
- Expert negotiation skills
- Ability to assess potential and risks associated with supplier and market changes, and integrate with category and sourcing strategies

3.) General Ledger Accountant

About the Job
- The General Ledger Accountant is responsible for managing the General Ledger of the legal entity within their scope.
- The role ensures that the books accurately reflect the financial position of the entity and that all transactions recorded in the accounts are IFRS compliant, conform to relevant local statutory requirements, and adhere to Group policies. The accountant maintains world-class performance and internal control standards by implementing best practices and Group procedures.
- The role ensures that all transactions in the ledgers are fully recorded in compliance with Group and Country accounting policies, the chart of accounts, and related accounting principles. This function is ultimately accountable for the accurate booking of all transactions in line with internal procedures and statutory regulations.
What You'll Be Doing
Accounting:
- Ensure that all account reconciliations are performed at appropriate intervals and discrepancies are resolved promptly in line with group guidelines and professional best practices.
- Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely monthly closing processes.
- Support the preparation of statutory information and validate the data used to compile statutory results.
- Contribute to ad hoc financial reporting by providing the necessary support for the preparation of any ad hoc reports.
- Manage all changes in accounting policies received from both the Group and the Country.
- Lead and perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings.
- Perform periodic balance sheet reconciliations and prepare accompanying schedules.
- Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, with adequate schedules analyzing the financial position of the business.
- Perform monthly inter-company reconciliations with other business units, ensuring zero variances
Ensure timely reconciliation and closure of open intercompany items across all entities.
- Maintain adequate provisions and accruals on an ongoing basis.
- Ensure all General Ledger balances agree with sub-modules, such as bank balances.
Audit (Internal and External):
- Optimize group and internal control policies and procedures.
- Perform necessary controls and make any required adjustments.
- Ensure that all data and information within the scope of responsibility is reliable and accurate.
- Identify, implement, and communicate process improvements.
- Maintain a master list of journal entries.
- Facilitate the external audit process for the entity, ensuring a smooth audit and maintaining strong relationships with auditors.
Loans & Interest Accounting:
- Ensure the accuracy of loans and bond accounting.
- Keep loans and fixed deposit interest records up to date.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of unclaimed dividends.

Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree Preferably in (Accounting/Social Sciences)
- 5 years of post NYSC working experience with minimum of 3 years in similar role.
- ACA/ACCA certification required
- Good knowledge of an ERP environment – ideally JDE or SAP
- Practical knowledge of IAS, IFRS
- Internal controls
- Good knowledge of cement accounting
- Familiar with local statutory requirements on financial reporting
- MS-Excel Knowledge
