Job Position: Chief Financial Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities


  • Provide functions for planning, updating and monitoring of the company’s budget execution.
  • Prepare management reports of the company in the context of plan / actual for planning periods.
  • Participate in the development of budgets for joint ventures in which the Company holds a minority stake.
  • Prepare and obtain approval of long-term development plans.
  • Ensure interaction with other departments for the preparation of accounting, financial and other types of reports.

Qualification Requirements

  • Higher Economic / Finance Education. MBA is an advantage
  • At least 6 years of experience in budgeting & finance processes in the upstream business, including planning and execution.
  • Fluent Russian and English language.
  • Knowledge of accounting and governance reporting.
  • Experience in preparation and analysis of work programs and budgets.
  • Strong skill in factor analysis.
  • Knowledge of Lukoil corporate procedures and standards for budgeting and financing.
  • Practice of interaction with joint ventures and major oil and gas companies as shareholders.
  • Understanding of project management approach.

Job Position: Project Development Manager / Deputy General Director

Job Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Oversees and executes the Country Managers duties during any absence or business trips and ensuring the interests of shareholders are safeguarded (actually back to back).
  • Perform the role of a supervisor and ensure control over the implementation of the company projects portfolio, as well as monitoring and business development objectives.
  • Organize interface for interaction between partners and LUKOIL specialists on functional issues related to project execution.
  • Participates in value assurance activities to increase the value of projects and prepare decision support packages.

Qualification Requirements

  • Higher economic education, additional Technical education of Oil and Gas Industry;
  • At least 11 years of experience in project management activities in the oil and gas projects;
  • At least 9 years of work in joint ventures to deliver oil and gas projects from start-up till construction;
  • Knowledge of Lukoil corporate procedures and standards for decision-making process;
  • Practical experience and knowledge of PSA and concession contracts;
  • Principles and methodology of project management in international oil and gas projects;
  • Principles of budgeting, methodology for cost estimating and schedule planning;
  • Must be able to work with company Management to define short and long term plans of project execution for cost optimization and projects economics improvement;
  • Experience with risk management and risk evaluation;
  • Russian and English fluent speaker is a must;
  • 7 years of international experience;
  • HSE oriented experience;
  • Knowledge of contract and procurement process.

Job Position: Country Manager / General Director

Job Location: Lagos

Role and Responsibilities

  • Protects the interests of Shareholders and general management of the company in Nigeria.
  • Liaison and interaction with government and regulatory agencies and joint ventures in accordance with existing agreements and shareholder contracts.
  • Ensure coordination of the work programme and budget issues with lukoil Headquarters in accordance with Internal assurance processes.

Qualification Requirements

  • Higher Technical Education in oil and gas industry, additional economic education in the international Oil and gas Industry.
  • At least 10 years of experience in enterprise management activities in the Lukoil group;
  • Experience in shareholder management;
  • Practical experience in companies operated under PSA and concession contracts;
  • Fluent Russian and English is a must;
  • Practical experience and knowledge of the business environment of companies with more than 5000 employees;
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles;
  • Experience of interaction and negotiations with state authorities and International energy companies;
  • Strong background of project management process including phase approach;
  • 15 years of international experience;
  • Strong HSE skill and performance,
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of working time;
  • Readiness for unnormalized working schedule.

Job Position: Group System Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with the principles of internal corporate management in terms of preparing analytical reports on project implementation conditions, monitoring business development opportunities and providing the overall compliance function.
  • Create conditions for conducting internal audit, perform tasks for interaction with security services both Within the country and within the company.
  • Liaise and interact with regulatory and permitting state authorities.

Qualification Requirements

  • Higher Education qualification;
  • Knowledge of Lukoil corporate procedures and standards for decision-making process;
  • At least 10 years of experience in the economical and physical security required industrial and production fields;
  • Experience in carrying out interaction and coordination, concerning safety and security issues, with all Company departments;
  • Fluent Russian and English language for participation in regular meetings and conferences with superior organization, report preparation, procedure development and control, planning, recommendation, analyzing and informing on topic study;
  • Experience in organization and implementation of measures to minimize possible risks for production, financial and commercial operations;
  • Experience in contracts and procurement activity;
  • Engagement and interaction with state authorities, public offices, official agencies, permitting and controlling bodies;
  • Organization of actions and measures leading to the prevention of property’s thefts, business fraud, abuse of duty, etc.;
  • Claim related work, maintenance of internal documentation;
  • Performing checking procedures for the candidates, including key administrative personnel, elaboration of work description for subordinates;
  • Making necessary arrangements for the safety and security of the Company’s assets and its personnel.
  • Knowledge of Lukoil procedures in order to follow internal compliance procedures.
