Swift Networks Limited is a facilities-based telecommunications services provider. The company was founded in 2002, since inception, Swift Networks has invested heavily in “next generation” networking technologies to build a multi-service network platform.

We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Network Engineer

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description


  • This is a full-time on-site role located in Lagos.
  • As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.
  • You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and provide customized solutions, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize network performance and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • Experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with network protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, and firewalls
  • Knowledge of network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and SNMP
  • Experience with Cisco routers and switches, and other network devices
  • CCNA, CCNP, or other network certifications are a plus

2.) Accountant

Job Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Roles

  • To ensure that the company’s financial transactions are up to date and properly documented
  • To ensure the accuracy and integrity of the General ledger
  • To ensure that procedures according to laid down corporate financial policies are followed.

Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure that all financial transactions are input into the accounting system
  • Responsible for integrity of General ledger
  • Preparing and implementing budgets for the entire Company
  • Costing of the Company’s products, materials, and services
  • Demonstrating cost cutting initiatives aiming at providing best solution at lower cost
  • Implementing procedures according to Corporate policies and procedures
  • Producing multi-dimensional reports for Management decision
  • Ensuring that all costs are properly tracked and that OPEX and CAPEX are within budget
  • Developing and implementing effective controls framework and management systems to guide and support business operations
  • To strictly adhere to all financial policies and procedures
  • To reconcile Company’s Bank Accounts
  • To maintain Fixed Assets registers
  • To deal with all Tax matters
  • To assist with the preparation of the budget
  • To maintain and reconcile the general ledger
  • To issue cheques for suppliers due
  • To reconcile all vendors’ accounts
  • To process vendors’ invoices
  • To reconcile Receivable Accounts
  • To attend to Customers account query and send manual invoices where necessary
  • To maintain financial files and documents
  • To maintain and reconcile the accounts payable
  • To book all invoices received
  • To generate relevant financial reports that will aid management in taking key decisions
  • To raise monthly journal-HQ and outlets
  • Carry out other duties as may be assigned by supervisors from time to time.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of Second Class Honour(Upper Division) in Accounting, Finance or any related field from a reputable Nigerian or international institution.
  • Possession of a Master's Degree and relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.

3.) Audit Officer

Job Location: Lagos

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducting ongoing reviews of all operational processes and procedures
  • Conducting evaluations of the company to assess risk and compliance with regulations
  • Regular review of procurement quotations and budget control form
  • Periodic inventory count and resolution of outstanding inventory issues
  • Periodic evaluation of cash count and fuel dip
  • Plans financial, regulatory, compliance and operational reviews/audits.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks
  • Reports breaches on internal control policies
  • Evaluate departmental risk registers review & follow up on action plans
  • Regular review of the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Partakes in audit procedures to verify that controls are in place
  • Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree 2nd Class Honors (Upper division) in Accounting, Finance, Economics or any relevant course
  • Three to five (3 - 5) years of relevant work experience.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g. CIA, ACA,CISA,ACCA, etc).

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent understanding of the standards of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ability to fully comply with IIA standards
  • Strong skills in negotiating, relationship building, problem-solving, and timely problem escalation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook
  • Must possess a strong moral code
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong report-writing skills
  • Good analytical and investigative skills
  • Good investigative skills.
