Job Position: Junior Level Accountant

Job Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

• The Junior Accountant will assist the Finance team in managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end/year-end closing activities.
• The role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Assist in preparing invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers.
• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, pension, etc.).

Requirements

• OND / HND / Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in accounting (internship/industrial training experience acceptable).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.

Salary
N50,000 - N70,000 / month.
