Laboratory Technologist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform all tests in an accurate and efficient manner following established policies and procedures.
• Perform and record daily and/or routine maintenance and quality control on all equipment or reagents used for testing.
• Recognize problems with instruments, reagents, test results and/or supplies and initiates problem solving procedures.
• Address client-related questions and problems in a courteous and efficient manner, following department policies and procedures.
• Participate in training of new employees and students in appropriate technical areas
• Record all results in an accurate, complete and readable format, utilize computer systems correctly to generate results and notifies clients appropriately of panic value results.
• Comply with all corporate integrity and safety policies.
• Contribute to the overall effectiveness by performing other duties as required.
• Must be able to communicate with their teams and prepare reports related to their findings during and after production process.
• And any other duty assigned by the Head of department.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: - BSC/B.TECH and HND in Mechanical Engineer, Materials and Metallurgical Engineering or any other related discipline.
