Job Position: Legal Assistant
Job Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa

Position Overview

  • As a Legal Assistant at Azikel Group, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team in various aspects of our operations.

Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Conducting legal research and providing support in the interpretation of laws and regulations.
  • Assisting with the monitoring and compliance of legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure legal objectives are met.
  • Assisting in the coordination and preparation of legal correspondence, reports, and presentations.
  • Maintaining and organizing legal files and records.
  • Supporting the legal team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Job Qualifications and Skills
To be considered for this position, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Law or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Legal Assistant or similar role.
  • Sound knowledge of Nigerian laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
