Specializing in a range of services including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Project Management for the oil and gas sector, the company adheres to the Nigeria Content Development directives of 2010. With offices in Nigeria and the USA, Shomas operates with major industry players like Chevron, Total, and ExxonMobil, leveraging strategic sourcing and supply chain expertise. 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Local Procurement Officer

Job Location: Warri, Delta
Job type: Full-time 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply chain management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related field.
• 3-5 years in procurement or supply chain, preferably in the oil & gas, logistics, or servicing Industry.
• In-depth understanding of the Wari procurement terrain including key markets, reliable vendors, and sourcing Locations, with the ability to efficiently and cost-effectively source materials and services locally.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and digital procurement platforms (e.g., NIPEX, ARIBA, GEP SMART).Working proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive is required.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Good understanding of tendering processes and contract administration.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with IMS / ISO standards, inventory management, and logistics coordination.

Remuneration

• Salary: 200,000 - 230,000 Naira Monthly
• Gross Benefits: HMO, performance bonuses.
