Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Logistics Manager to oversee our logistics operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire supply chain process, ensuring efficient transportation and distribution of goods.
• This role requires a strong understanding of fleet management, inventory control, and data analysis to optimize logistics performance.
• The Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and driving process improvements.

Duties

• Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Manage fleet operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintenance schedules.
• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and areas for improvement in logistics processes.
• Coordinate transportation planning, including route optimization and carrier selection.
• Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate pricing for shipping and logistics services.
• Monitor the performance of logistics staff, providing training and support as needed.
• Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with NVOCC regulations and standards in international shipping.

Skills

• Strong fleet management experience with a focus on efficiency and safety.
• Proficient in data analysis skills to interpret logistics metrics and drive decision-making.
• Expertise in transportation planning, including route optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of inventory management principles to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Familiarity with NVOCC operations and international shipping regulations is a plus.
• Ability to negotiate pricing effectively with vendors for shipping services.
• Experience in process improvement methodologies to enhance operational workflows.
• Competence in order picking processes to ensure accurate fulfillment of customer orders.
