Job Position: Maintenance Engineer

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for end to end Maintenance of factory facilities, designing, implementing, controlling and optimizing industrial processes, especially continuous ones within the factory.

Scope

  • Testing and evaluating the processes to locate inefficiencies and make recommendations for improvements to quality, productivity, safety, and cost.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Create, set specifications, develop, implement and monitor this equipment or these processes as part of the manufacturing system
  • Develop best practices, routines and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output
  • Investigate and troubleshoot any problems that arise with processes, procedures, and operations.
  • Work in conjunction with all engineering and R&D to support new products and new manufacturing technology platforms in operations
  • Develop and implement metrics to monitor and improve performance of processes in the factory
  • Provide process documentation and operating instructions in the factory
  • Develop new processes for high efficiency and cost effectiveness in the factory
  • Analyse and troubleshoot process problems so as to make continuous and permanent improvements.
  • Develop and perform experimental process tests with respect to quality, method, cost, etc.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline required
  • 5+ years in process engineering
  • Proven history in improving supply chain efficiency
  • Impeccable maths and statistical analysis skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment.
