Job Position: Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities


  • Manage Maintenance and Repairs of Office and Residential Properties
  • Conduct inspections of properties for required repairs
  • Coordinate emergency and regular repairs and coordinate repairs to building.
  • Maintain fire protection systems and equipment
  • Supervise landscaping and grounds maintenance
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to structural, mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of generators, air conditioning and ventilation systems, pumps and waste treatment systems.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of building interiors and exteriors
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of finishing, ceilings, flooring and roofing.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs to appliances such as cookers, refrigerators and washing machines.
  • Building a team of supervisors and maintenance staff (cleaners, gardeners, plumbers, electricians, carpenters, electricians, AC technicians, for each site)
  • Assign tasks and ensure schedules are maintained.
  • Maintain General Administration within the Department
  • Prepare budgets and financial reports
  • Prepare, implement and oversee maintenance and improvement plans
  • Establish, implement and oversee preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance schedules
  • Prepare plans for short terms projects
  • Manage applicable projects
  • Manage contracts with sub-contractors
  • Keep a daily log
  • Track data using computerized maintenance management system
  • Prepare activities reports and work order reports
  • Recommend the purchase of goods and equipment as well as ensure the best qualities are supplied and maintained.
  • Maintain records and inventories.
  • Coordinate the maintenance department to achieve projects timelines
  • Provide reports to government agencies, departments and other organisations as required.
  • Perform other related duties as requirement by management.
  • Employee Relations Management
  • Evaluate, train and develop employees in understanding policies and procedures;
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff
  • Delegate appropriate responsibilities and required authority at various levels
  • Assist and offer advice/guidance on individual employee relations cases within department ensuring they meet the requirements of company policies;
  • Promote staff morale and workplace safety in accordance with IMS policies;
  • Reporting of all incidents in line with set SHEQ and Security procedures.
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and customer care are achieved;

Requirements

  • University degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
  • Certifications in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment
  • Certifications in any of the following: Project Management Professional, Nigerian Society of Engineers
  • (NSE), Engineer with Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) Valid Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) will be a plus
  • Preference will be given to candidates with
    • Who Can speak a second language
    • Who have experience in the Offshore Oil and Gas industry, working with multinational companies / clients and international experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 15 years in the offshore oil and gas support/logistics environment
  • Proven experience as maintenance manager or other managerial role
  • Experience in contract negotiation and administration
