Job Position: Manufacturing Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Ensuring that the Company’s Safety policy and procedures are adhered to and are communicated to the workforce effectively.
  • Ensure safety levels are optimal and good housekeeping practices are applied in factory.
  • Ensuring plant performance OEE target are adhered too.
  • Reviewing and analysing production, quality data to determine causes of non-conformity by using internal CI tools (R-EWO, QP-EWO, HERCA and A3)
  • Maintaining lagging and leading indicators, latest accidents, Safe start management, implement standards, and address HIRA high priority items.
  • Organizing and controlling the production facility to produce at correct quality and cost at the correct time.
  • Developing and motivating production staff to achieve agreed objectives regarding efficiency, quality, industrial standards, health, and safety.
  • Ensuring that the correct Quality standards are complied with.
  • Taking appropriate action to ensure regularity of product quality and compliance with specifications and standards, at the best cost.

Requirements

  • Engineering Degree, preferably a masters degree
  • Preferably 10 years with experience in manufacturing organization or in maintenance management
  • Strong Customer focus
  • Strong technical background
  • Outstanding Cross-Functional Understanding
  • Computer literate (Microsoft package, SAP, HR systems )
  • Be a leader able to bring along his team towards the company goals.
  • Performance driven.
  • Be a good communicator for bridging common communication gaps within his factory structure.
