We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Ojota, Lagos

Role Description


  • This is a full-time role for a Mechanical Engineer, based on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria.
  • The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems, creating machine designs, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
  • Additional responsibilities include overseeing projects, conducting research and development to improve processes, and contributing to innovative solutions that enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee gas reticulation and pipeline installation project.
  • Coordinate with contracts, inspectors, and project teams
  • Prepare technical drawings, report, and documentation
  • Supervise gas pipe laying works, testing, and commissioning
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with natural gas and LPG distribution systems.
  • Relevant professional certifications are an advantage
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and Machine Design
  • Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and related software
  • Project Management experience to deliver projects successfully
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D) for innovative problem-solving
  • Excellent analytical skills with a focus on practical application of engineering principles
  • Professional certifications in engineering or project management are an added advantage.
