We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Editorial Intern

Job Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Internship

Key Responsibilities
Content Management:


  • Develop and execute content strategies that align with our brand vision.
  • Coordinate and oversee the creation of articles, blog posts, and multimedia content.
  • Edit content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to editorial standards.
  • Manage publication calendars for timely content delivery.
  • Optimize all content for SEO to drive organic traffic.
  • Work collaboratively with writers, editors, and design teams.

Community Engagement:

  • Actively engage with our online community across platforms.
  • Produce relevant and engaging posts, articles, and discussions to spark participation.
  • Coordinate online events, webinars, and Q&A sessions.
  • Manage and grow communities on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor feedback, address concerns, and contribute to a supportive digital environment.
  • Use analytics to measure engagement and community-building efforts.

Social Media Management:

  • Manage day-to-day posting and content curation across all social platforms.
  • Share relevant articles and updates that reflect our tone and focus.
  • Strategize and implement ways to grow followers and increase engagement.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics to guide improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or final year student) in Communications, Media, or related fields.
  • 2 - 4 years of demonstrated experience in content creation or social media management.
  • Strong writing and editorial skills.
  • Proficiency in SEO practices and content marketing.
  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Google Analytics, and scheduling platforms (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working both independently and in a team.
  • Creative thinker with a strong interest in business, innovation, and digital storytelling.
