We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Mining Engineer
Job Location: Endo, Nasarawa
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mining Engineer to join our operations at our mine site in Nasarawa State. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising mining operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee daily mining operations
• Ensure compliance with mining laws, safety standards, and environmental regulations
• Prepare mine plans, production schedules, and technical reports
• Supervise site operations, contractors, and equipment usage
• Monitor production performance and optimize mining processes
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures
• Coordinate with geology, safety, and operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in mining operations
• Strong knowledge of mine planning, drilling, blasting, and production techniques
• Familiarity with Nigerian mining regulations
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Nasarawa State

Added Advantage:

• Professional certification (e.g., COREN or relevant professional body)
• Experience working in an active mine site environment.
