We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Procurement Manager

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities


  • Developing sound, cost-effective strategies for the purchasing of materials used in the business
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers while continually scouting for additional vendors
  • Conducting cost analyses and setting benchmarks for improvement
  • Developing risk management procedures to mitigate losses in the event of product shortages
  • Evaluating spending operations while seeking ways to improve and enhance the quality of products purchased and the timeliness of deliveries
  • Communicating with management regularly regarding the efficient flow of goods and services affecting production
  • Supervising a purchasing team and delegating tasks across departments when necessary
  • Working closely with the company legal department to make sure contracts and terms are favorable.

2.) Information Technology Officer

Job Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage technology services that meet operational requirements in designated area(s) of the University.
  • Serves as the lead IT liaison with senior administration, faculty, staff and students in designated area(s) to understand and interpret client needs at a division level and to collaborate across lines in meeting those needs.
  • Directs and coordinates the local implementation of University IT operations, projects, and programs, ensuring alignment of IT services with the business needs of the area(s) and adherence to established project management principles and best management practices.
  • Provides technical leadership on a variety of highly specialized project-related activities requiring expertise in specific technical areas for core information technology systems and services.
  • Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs.
  • Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, objectives, short- and long-range IT planning, with an emphasis on advocating for the needs of the area(s) supported; implements tracking and evaluation programs to assist in accomplishment of established goals.
  • Participates in the documentation and implementation of policies and standard operating procedures consistent with those of the university to ensure effective operation of an organization.
  • Participates in development of IT Service Catalog offerings, Service Level Agreements, and Operating Level Agreements consistent with the needs of the organization.
  • Delivers appropriate personnel actions and educational and training programs to ensure high quality professional staff performance in the area(s) of oversight.
  • Participates as a member of the IT management team in planning, problem resolution, and reviewing department performance.
  • Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and/or systems.

4.) Pastry Chef

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
  • Check the quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking
  • Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently
  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget
  • Identify staffing needs and help recruit and train personnel
  • Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards

Requirements and Skills

5.) Food and Beverage Supervisor

Job Brief

  • As a Food and Beverage Supervisor you will primarily be responsible for supervising and delivering outstanding and friendly food and beverage service.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with and assist the Food and Beverage and other Supervisors in the day to day operation
  • Greet and seat guests with a smile
  • Supplying, dispensing or mixing of beverages, cleaning of bar areas and equipment, preparing the bar for service, taking beverage orders and serving drinks
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of all food served from the Kitchen
  • Set-up, maintain, cleaning and pack-down of work areas according to procedures and standards

Job Responsibilities

  • Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes, and water safety rules to students with varying swimming abilities.
  • Identifying incorrect swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly.
  • Ensuring that the swimming pool and locker rooms are kept clean and tidy.
  • Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs accordingly.
  • Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their swimming abilities.
  • Planning swimming lessons that take into account students’ abilities and progressive development.
