We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Financial Analyst

Job Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Job Description


  • Preparing and analyzing finance-based questions across various roles within the accounting space (industry standard) 
  • Performing periodic reviews and evaluations of the quality, cogency, and structure of the database and making strategic recommendations.
  • Identifying investment opportunities and studying risk factors
  • Preparing documentation to help startups in getting funds.
  • Creating financial models (often in Excel) to inform strategies and forecasts.
  • Staying updated with the latest trends in the accounting space globally. 
  • Noting the feedback of the candidate's experience of the assessments and making necessary adjustments
  • Developing reports, tools, and Excel dashboards for reporting, and analyzing candidates' experience.
  • Work on special projects as required. 

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
  • Should have 4 - 7 years of relevant work experience as a financial Analyst in the Tech industry.
  • Must have a first-class or 2.1.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACA, and ACCA will be an added advantage. 

Required Skills:

  • Must be a tech enthusiast.
  • Good understanding of trends, opportunities, regulations, and legislations relating to the technology sector
  • Good data-gathering, analysis and problem-solving skills 
  • Good knowledge and understanding of finance best practices, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards. 
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 

Job Proficiency:

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office tools. (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting packages and systems, including SAP, Sage, and QuickBooks.

2.) Depot Accountant

Job Location: Abuja (FCT)
Job type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
  • Update accounts receivable and issue invoices.
  • Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports.
  • Keeping records of sales transactions.
  • Processing Invoices on orders generated by sales representatives.
  • Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
  • Provide accounting support for the financial reporting unit.
  • Handle accounts payable duties, enter daily worksheets into the general ledger system, assist accounting personnel, and ensure files are complete and maintained as needed.
  • Verify, organize, process, and store an organization’s financial records.
  • Produce reports and reconcile any differences found in records as needed.
  • Reconciliation of accounts and stocks.
  • Required to keep accurate records, be detail-oriented, and be able to spot financial errors made by others.

Requirements

  • At least one year of work experience in a similar environment
  • Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software (e.g. SAP)
  • BSc / BA in Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

3.) Data Entry Specialist

Job Location: Ketu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Transfer data from a hard copy to a digital database.
  • Organize existing data in a spreadsheet.
  • Verify outdated data and make any necessary changes to records.
  • Provide occasional administrative support.
  • Sort and organize hard copies of paperwork after entering data electronically.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors.
  • Assist with special projects that require large amounts of data entry.
  • Operate common office equipment, like scanners and printers.
  • Search for and investigate information contained in files.
  • Perform regular database backups to secure data.
  • Input text-based and numerical information from source documents.
  • Provide data entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Type in data quickly and efficiently.

Requirements and Skills

  • BSc Degree / HND in Accounting, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related discipline
  • Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Officer
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs.
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation
  • Attention to detail.
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
