She Code Africa is a registered non-profit organisation empowering girls and women across Africa with technical and soft skills needed to match or scale their careers in STEM With a mission to bring in more girls and women in Africa into technology through our offline hands-on-training and events focused on all aspects of technology while also giving a platform and voice to existing members helping them grow technically.

Job Position: Operations Associate

Job Location: Lagos, Nigeria (Remote)

Role Summary


  • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Associate II to support the smooth functioning of our daily operations.
  • This role will be primarily based in Lagos, Nigeria but remote and will be responsible for overseeing office management, coordinating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and driving efficiency across organizational processes.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for someone with at least 2–3 years of operational or administrative experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about creating efficient systems that enable impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operational activities and ensure efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of internal policies and guidelines.
  • Ensure proper compliance with operational policies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for improved efficiency.
  • Independently manages day-to-day office operations.
  • Coordinates and executes events and logistics.
  • Provides support to HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • May be responsible for office management and maintenance.
  • May assist with the development and implementation of internal operational policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in operations, office management, or administrative support, ideally in a nonprofit or social impact setting.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supporting HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
  • Familiarity with office management processes, event coordination, and vendor management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; confidence in working across teams and functions.
  • Knowledge of compliance, policy implementation, or operational best practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, or similar).
  • High level of initiative, resourcefulness, and ability to work independently.
  • Strong alignment with She Code Africa’s mission and values.
