Responsibilities
As Payments & Compliance Associate, you will:
- Ensure Smooth Transactions: Monitor and process payments with accuracy and timeliness.
- Stay Compliant: Implement and enforce compliance policies aligned with CBN and global best practices.
- Risk Management: Flag irregular activities and work with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all financial operations and compliance activities.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Support finance, operations, and regulatory engagement units to ensure seamless delivery.
Requirements
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience Matters: 2–4 years in payments, compliance, or financial operations (preferably in fintech, banking, or related sectors).
- Detail-Driven: Strong attention to accuracy, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Savvy: Familiarity with CBN guidelines, AML/CFT policies, and NDIC standards.
- Tech-Enabled: Comfortable using fintech apps, reporting tools, and compliance software.
- Professional Integrity: Trustworthy, discreet, and grounded in ethical practice.
