Job Position: Personal Assistant to the Head of Sixth Form

Role Overview
- The PA will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Secondary School leadership office.
- This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, interpersonal and organisational skills to effectively manage the demands of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external stakeholders (parents, staff, students).
- Coordinate and facilitate communication between the Head of Sixth Form and other departments.
- Manage the Head’s calendar, scheduling appointments, meetings, and school events.
- Draft, prepare, and manage correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Handle incoming/outgoing communications (emails, letters, calls) with confidentiality.
- Organise and support meetings, conferences, and events (logistics, minutes, follow-up).
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents, offering guidance/support.
- Coordinate parent-teacher meetings, student conferences, and other engagements.
- Maintain student records, transcripts, and related documentation.
- Support monitoring of student progress, performance, and disciplinary issues.
- Liaise with Admissions and Finance for prospective students and smooth onboarding.
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
Essential:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Education, Business Admin, or related field preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a PA/Administrative Assistant, ideally in an educational setting.
- Knowledge of educational policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and school management software.
- Excellent organisation, multitasking, and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
