Summary
- We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Pharmacist to join our client’s pharmacyteam in Baruwa, Lagos.
- The ideal candidate must be passionate about patient care, committed to ethical pharmaceutical practice, and able to provide professional guidance on the safe and effective use of medications.
- Due to the nature of this role, only candidates living within or very close to Baruwaand surrounding areas will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Patient Care:
- Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Provide professional advice on drug usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
- Ensure patients understand dosage, timing, and adherence to prescriptions.
Pharmaceutical Management:
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and inventory.
- Monitor stock levels, check for near-expiry medications, and recommend re-orders.
- Ensure storage and handling of drugs meet required standards.
Regulatory & Compliance:
- Ensure full compliance with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) and relevant healthregulations.
- Maintain proper documentation and controlled drug registers.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethical pharmaceutical practice.
Operational Excellence:
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy assistants and interns.
- Support the smooth running of daily pharmacy operations.
- Promote health awareness and offer counseling on lifestyle modifications when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
- Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria
- Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience in community pharmacy.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dispensing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients.
- Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
- Applicants must reside in or near Baruwa, Lagos (Ipaja, Ayobo, Egbeda, Gowon Estate, orclose environs).

Working Hours:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Alternate Saturdays and Sundays.
