Summary


  • We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Pharmacist to join our client’s pharmacyteam in Baruwa, Lagos.
  • The ideal candidate must be passionate about patient care, committed to ethical pharmaceutical practice, and able to provide professional guidance on the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Due to the nature of this role, only candidates living within or very close to Baruwaand surrounding areas will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
Dispensing & Patient Care:

  • Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications.
  • Provide professional advice on drug usage, potential side effects, and interactions.
  • Ensure patients understand dosage, timing, and adherence to prescriptions.

Pharmaceutical Management:

  • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled drugs, and inventory.
  • Monitor stock levels, check for near-expiry medications, and recommend re-orders.
  • Ensure storage and handling of drugs meet required standards.

Regulatory & Compliance:

  • Ensure full compliance with Pharmacy Council of Nigeria (PCN) and relevant healthregulations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and controlled drug registers.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethical pharmaceutical practice.

Operational Excellence:

  • Supervise and mentor pharmacy assistants and interns.
  • Support the smooth running of daily pharmacy operations.
  • Promote health awareness and offer counseling on lifestyle modifications when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
  • Current license to practice as a Pharmacist in Nigeria
  • Minimum of 3 years post-NYSC experience in community pharmacy.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and dispensing practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with patients.
  • Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping skills.
  • Applicants must reside in or near Baruwa, Lagos (Ipaja, Ayobo, Egbeda, Gowon Estate, orclose environs).
  • Applications from candidates outside these areas will not be considered.

Working Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Alternate Saturdays and Sundays.
