Job Position: Procurement Lead

Job Brief

• PSL is seeking a Procurement Lead & Officer to oversee procurement activities, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost-effective sourcing.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts
• Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services
• Manage procurement budgets and expenditures
• Maintain strong supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and procurement standards
• Supervise junior procurement staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of procurement or supply chain experience
• Experience in the Oil and Gas industry is a plus.
• Professional certification (e.g. CIPS) is an added advantage
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and controls
